This study aimed to evaluate the effect of the combination of Azotobacter inoculation and ameliorant application on Pb reduction and to determine the best combination for enhancing the phytoremediation capacity of vetiver grass in gold mine tailings. The experiment was arranged in a Randomized Block Design with two factors and three replications. The first factor was the type of Azotobacter inoculation (without Azotobacter, Azotobacter vinelandii, indigenous Azotobacter tailing-1, indigenous Azotobacter tailing-2, and an Azotobacter consortium). The second factor was the dose of cattle manure (0 t ha⁻¹, 10 t ha⁻¹, and 20 t ha⁻¹). The results showed a significant interaction between the Azotobacter type and cattle manure rate on the efficiency of Pb reduction in tailings.
